In the Caribbean they know fish! Catching and preparing fish is deeply embedded in this region's history, culture and even folklore. This blend is named after the Lusca, a name given to a sea monster said to exist in the region.
When using this blend, the caramelisation of coconut blossom sugar brings a subtle sweetness, while the combination of coriander seeds, Jamaican peppers (allspice), ancho chili peppers, nutmeg and cloves introduce a rich earthy warmth with plenty of heat.
Although designed to be used on a wide array of fish, this spicy blend also works surprisingly well on poultry and meat!
Ingredients: Sea salt, Garlic, Coconut blossom sugar, Sweet paprika, Onion, Coriander, Thyme, Allspice, Ancho chili pepper, Nutmeg, Cloves.
May contain traces of mustard and celery.
