The mainland of the Scandinavian peninsula has over 30.000 kilometres of shoreline. Thus, it is not surprising that the sea has always been important in Scandinavian culture and cuisine. This blend is named after Aegir, a divine personification of the sea in Norse mythology, who is portrayed as a jötunn (giant).
This fresh and herbal mixture compliments fish and other seafood, and works especially well as a dry rub on a good cut of salmon.
This blend does not contain salt, which can be added to taste.
Ingredients: Onion, Dillweed, Black pepper, Lemon peel, Caraway seeds, Tarragon.
May contain traces of mustard and celery.
