We named this coffee infusion after Kaldi, who was a legendary goatherd who discovered the coffee plant. According to this Ethiopian legend, Kaldi noticed that his goats became overly energetic after eating red berries from a certain bush. Amazed with his findings, Kaldi took his discovery to a monastery were soon after the first beverage from coffee berries was made.
These Moroccan coffee spices can be added to ground coffee before brewing, to infuse your coffee with a spicy warmth that makes you wonder why you ever drank coffee without spices. In addition, this blend can be used to infuse milk, or as a sprinkle on top of your favourite coffee beverage.
Ingredients: Nutmeg, Black pepper, Cinnamon, Ginger, Sea salt, Cloves, Green cardamom.
May contain traces of mustard and celery.
