MADRAS CURRY
- an Indian inspired curry masala -
"Kari podi", or the Anglicized spice mixture named "curry powder" originates from the Indian subcontinent. Although there are many variations on curry powder, the warm and spicy Madras curry is one of the more popular ones, and for good reason!
This colourful blend infuses your dish with the sweet, earthy warmth that made the Indian cuisine famous across the globe.
To enhance the flavours in this curry powder, we carefully roasted the whole spices before grinding them into a mixture that still has some structure to it. Use garam masala to finish up your dish to add another layer of Indian complexity!
This blend does not contain salt, which can be added to taste.
Ingredients: Cumin, Fenugreek, Coriander seeds, Black pepper, Black mustard seeds, Chili pepper, Turmeric, Fennel seeds, Cinnamon, Star anise, Onion, Kashmiri chili pepper, Garlic, Indian bay leaf, Green cardamom.
May contain traces of celery.
